3 Drowned at NC Beaches

Three people have drowned recently at the southern beaches in Brunswick County in NC. Judge Mitchell McLean, age 54 drowned while trying to rescue a woman. Mary Ann Galway age 55 was struggling in the water when McLean went in to help her. Both McLean and Galway drowned off Sunset Beach. William Nicolaro, age 72 also drowned at Ocean Isle Beach. All the drowning were due to rip currents.
