Until the results of the toxicology report comes back, the death of Ronald Jessen who’s body was found face down in the water at the soundsound Frisco Wood Campground on Hatteras Island has been ruled an accidental drowning by the medical examiner. He was reported missing Saturday night. His body was found Monday morning in the water near the campground. At this time the Dare County Sheriff’s department report Jessen’s death was nothing due to accidental drowning. Jessen was 57 years old and was from Gloucester, Virginia.
