Sailor Rescued From Neuse River By Ferry Crew
Sailor rescued this past weekend from Neuse River. A North Carolina ferry-boat crew had to rescue a sailor from the Neuse River after his sailboat rolled on Saturday July 4, 2015. The crew of the Ferry M/V Chicamacomico launched their rescue boat when a crew member saw the sailor needed help. The sailboat had rolled over in the water of the Neuse River. Two ferry crew members reached the sailor and rescued Sean Pollin. The three were able to right the sailboat. The sailor did not require any medical help. The sailboat was pulled to shore. The ferry was loading cars from Minnesott Beach when the rescue had to take place this past weekend. Another fine job by the North Carolina Ferry Division on the coast of North Carolina!
