You can look for the International Space Station as it passes over head for the next several nights. It is visible to this area for the next week or so. Use Spot the Station to see when the ISS flies over and watch as it crosses the night sky. From the wide open view and dark skies of the Outer Banks its easy to spot the ISS as it glides over the dark skies. The light from the ISS does not blink like an airplane, it has a steady glow that just slowly slides through the night sky until it disappears.
