The New Inlet Boat Ramp Pea Island and parking lot will be closed to the public starting today. As part of the new permanent bridge construction on Highway 12 on Hatteras Island at Pea Island the NCDOT will close to the public the New Inlet Boat ramp and parking lot. The NCDOT will use the area as a staging location for equipment and materials during the new bridge construction project. The closing to the public begin today Tuesday 3/18/2014.
