No Death Penalty For Lynn Jackenheimer’s Killer

Nate Summerfield will not face the death penalty for the murder of Lynn Jackenheimer in July 2012 while they vacationed on the Outer Banks of NC. Summerfield stabbed and strangled Jackenheimer then dumped her body in a secluded are near Frisco on Hatteras Island. Her body was found in a bag in a secluded marshy area by a local taking a break from construction work. Summerfield was caught 5 weeks after the murder.
