When the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse was moved in 1999 the original stones were engraved with the names of past lighthouse keepers and placed in a circle at the original site. Now the stones have been almost completely covered up by sand. Islanders want the stones moved, the National Park Service does not have the money to move them. Now what?
