Due to the Government Shutdown the Cape Hatteras National Park has been closed. This includes; the Cape Hatteras National Seashore; the Wright Brothers National Memorial; and Fort Raleigh on Roanoke Island.  It also means lighthouses are closed: Cape Hatteras, Bodie Island, and Cape Lookout are all closed has well as Visitors Centers.
