The NCDOT is busy at work on Highway 12 Ocracoke Island rebuilding the dunes that were damaged during Hurricane Arthur. This work will continue for about another 3 weeks they report. Be prepared for delays on Highway 12 on Ocracoke Island between the village and the north ferry terminal.
