The beginning stages of work to repair the Bonner Bridge at the Outer Banks has begun. A dredge will take about two days to rearrange sand in the inlet. The governor of North Carolina declared repairs of Bonner Bridge an emergency. This will allow for a rapid response to all efforts for making repairs to the Bonner Bridge.
